Hi there! My name is Chai Evaline but you can just call me Chai!
I’m one of the newer tattoo artists at Fait Maison and I’m so grateful to be here!

If I’m not tattooing at the shop, I’m probably working at my office job where I help assist people who suffer from complex mental illnesses find affordable and stable housing. Or I’m most likely out and
about with my Pug, Kobe.

 

I finished my tattoo apprenticeship back in November 2022 at Divine Tattoo Studios in Colonia, NJ and worked there until July 2023 before moving to my new tattoo home at Fait.

 

I tattoo mostly Black & Gray, American Traditional and Anime.
Before tattooing, I studied design at Montclair State University and graduated with my BA Visual Arts degree in 2019. I freelanced in graphic design and curated a few gallery events at the Index Art Center in Newark.

I’m usually quite the busy bee buzzing around everywhere and anywhere all at once. I’m a bit of a workaholic, concert junkie and lover of all foods with a major sweet tooth! But when I’m able to relax at home, I enjoy reading shoujo manga and watching anime while being snuggled up with my baby doggie.
